I'm so proud of myself for keeping up with healthy eating and exercise. I'm actually glad my body aches!

I jumped on the scales tonight and have gained a kilo????

Im determined not to be disheartened and am going to keep up my work outs.

This was my lunch today ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1389185849.439110.jpg
    Rice & quinoa
    4 bean mix
    Salmon
    And asparagus.

    It was actually very delicious!

    !
I usually weigh myself in the morning before I eat/drink anything and after a pee. I find in the evenings/other times of day allows for too much fluctuation depending on that you've eaten/drank and done that day.

Take measurements and take photos of yourselves.
That's the best way if checking your progress. The scales might stay the same but you might be dropping cms
I compared photos that u took a month ago and today and I can see a difference.
It was so motivating and it just makes me want to keep going.

@Zeddie try not to weigh at night. I can sometimes weigh 2 kilos more than normal when I jump on the scales at night- it isn't accurate.
This morning I pulled out some old jeans that were a tight fit just 2 weeks ago. They were LOOSE on me! I could only just do up the button but today they fit perfectly and were actually roomy. So my biggest indicator (besides scales) is definitely the way my clothes fit.

Been SO good with my eating,I am using the Fitness Pal app,and recording all my food. Its just annoying coz I don't weigh my food so its hard to be totally precise.I seriously couldn't even go to the loo today without pain, sitting down was a *****,sitting down for half an hr on my break at work then getting up I felt like an 80yr old.I have NOT felt this bad since first ever going to the gym.Thats what happens when you don't go to gym for 3 weeks and your body just cracks the ****s coz its used to you just sitting on your *** eating and drinking wine 24/7

Best to weigh yourself in morning. Also NEVER weigh yourself after a workout because 1) your blood thickens when you exercise and 2) you drink so much water so both will affect the scales

Weighed myself today and have lost 2kg in a week and a half so happy about that, went to the gym today for the 1st time today it's definitely harder than what it looks. Has anyone got any good exercise routines/circuits that you can use with the gym equipment when there are no trainers around? Today I did 10mins walking on the treadmill, 10mins on the cross trainer and 10 mins on the exercise bike and was breaking out in a huge sweat (very unfit). Next time im going to try out the rowing machine as well. The part that seems to be the most stubborn to use loose weight from is my belly, anyone got any good exercises to help flatten tummies that does not involve doing situps (have had separated tummy muscles with ds1 and the physio did not recommend situps)?

I do planks (as long as you can hold it an try and push a little longer each time)
