Default Heartbeat seen how early in dating scan?

Hi there. I need to book in for my dating scan and want to know I will see a heartbeat and not be too early. At what date did you see a heartbeat on an abdominal scan?

I had one at 6w exactly.
Many people warned me that I was setting myself up for heartbreak and not seeing anything but it was all good and we got the hb on abdo scan and internal.
My actual viability scan wasnt scheduled till 7w though. The 6w scan was additional as I was freaking out.

5w4d didnt show a heartbeat abdominally, I had to have an internal. I'd go about 7w if you want to avoid an internal.
