Smile Toddler Bed Sized linen idea

    Hi,

I am looking into sourcing/making bedding for toddler beds as have found it so hard to find something that fits.

Possibly themed, like Disney etc or custom made.

Would anyone be interested in this?

    TIA

They do, but have found it kind of hard to find sets for toddlers most are single bed size or just standard.

I am in the process of making cars and thomas themed bedding for my little boy

My cot converts to a toddler bed but it does take a larger mattress.... Which was a pain to find (I'll post details in sizes etc later when I can find them!). However, despite all the manufacturers 'insisting' via advertising (!) that the mattress would only take certain larger sized linen I found ordinary cot fitted and flat sheets worked just fine.

The sheets are ok to find but doona covers and doonas in cot size are hard to find. I wouldn't want disney theme etc but would buy kids prints like cars/trucks, dinosaurs, owls, butterflies, fairies etc.

That's what I mean lol but can do them as a whole themed package or the doona/blanket by itself.

Bad case of baby brain today!

I think there is a market here for this! Most of the sets I could find were from the US and quite pricey. DD has a wool cot doona and only one cover for it as that was all I could find for a reasonable price online. I'm finding it hard to find anything ladybug. We really want to have a ladybug theme for DD's room.

Spotlight sell the doona panels so all you have to do is put some Dacron between the panels and sew them up. They have a good range of licensed designs and prints. My girls have Disney mermaids and Barbie toddler bed size quilts. MIL enhanced the design by sewing ribbon to the edges which looks great.
