Google: DIY Sharpie Dinnerware
I bought a baby toy for my mother and gave it to her for her birthday.
I reckon you can't beat the good old Christmas card with 'Merry Christmas Nan and Pop (insert correct titles). I love you so much already. Can't wait to meet you in July (insert correct month and share next Christmas with you' or something along those lines. I think it would still work even though you have sent them a Xmas card. It will be so wonderful seeing their reaction, just be sure they open it together. Maybe put some booties in there, if you have time. All the best x
So you could write: "Nanny (insert name) Poppy (insert name)
I like the idea of giving them a present and a keepsake to unwrap and open on Christmas Day. I'd do a photo in a frame.
Do you have an early ultrasound pic?
If you don't you could make a sign that says something like "We're expanding by two feet" and take a photo of yourself (holding the sign) and hubby.
Write a message on something (sand if you live near the beach, even on a chalkboard etc) and photograph
We gave them one of the printouts we got from the early ultrasound. You could put it in a Christmas card if you have one. Or you could mock up a "voucher" for baby kisses and cuddles http://www.fun-vouchers.co.uk
