Sounds like an acute infection. Reason I asked about epidural was I was initially thinking epidural headache ie csf leak. Your pulse and temp def indicate infection. Im not a dr though, just a nurse with the info you gave. Best of luck & I truly hope its a minor ingliction that passes quickly do you can get back home & enjoy xmas with your family and beautiful new bubby :-)

My bp has been good 120/70 and my pulse is 118. I feel less hot after the panadol. I think they were supposed to give me more abs at 6pm though.

It's a small hospital and its on bypass so there are no drs except one in a and e. Their path lab isnt open until tomorrow. I dont even have tv

Just had the second dose. They said hopefully I can go home tomorrow with oral abs, I suppose that depends on what is wrong. Bub is being difficult wanting to feed every 30min, I feel bad for buzzing the middie so often. The antibiotics must be upsetting her tummy

Feeling a bit better. Temp is back to normal and pulse is back to 85. One more dose of abs then hopefully I can go home. My back its still aching and I still have a headache, but I can deal with that at home by myself.

Thanks for your well wishes everyone
