Default BFP yesterday and now I'm bleeding..

Got my bfp (albeit faint), AF was a day late.
I was supposed to go get bloods done this morning but I've woken up to pink/brown tinged CM (much like the start of AF).
Is this what a chemical pregnancy is? I feel so... Broken?!
Please tell me there is someone who has experienced something similar and had a successful pregnancy... Or tell me to quit dreaming and face reality :-(

    I'm so lost...

I'm sorry to hear this, it sounds like it could be a chemical pregnancy, but the only easy way to know for sure is if it turns into af, or stops.
I hope it stops for you and is just some random pregnancy bleeding that some women get.

Proudly brought to you by me and my autocorrect fail device.

It could just be breakthrough bleeding. Best of luck xx

It may be just clearing out old blood and amount to nothing. I saw your BFP and it looked very positive so hoping that u just get spotting and continue on to a healthy baby

Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding or maybe a chemical pregnancy, though the darker line tells me it was just implantation bleeding. With my chemical I only got one faint positive test, the next was negative and my bleeding happened not long after..I think it was 1-2 days after getting that positive that I began bleeding?

    An update...
So blood test on Saturday confirmed pregnancy but then I had some more spotting on Tuesday and doc sent me to A&E because my blood type is O negative and I had to get the anti d shot.
2nd blood test confirmed hcg levels rising (was 75 on Saturday morning and 268 on Tuesday lunchtime). I have to get an ultrasound next week (because all the imaging places are shut over the holidays) - the doc wanted to rule out an ectopic.
Currently experiencing period like cramps which I think is normal...
FX the ultrasound shows that everything is ok...
Bit anxious because dp was so excited that he told all of his family yesterday (as a special Xmas surprise) and now I am so worried that he's told everyone too soon and it will jinx things...
I know I need to relax but that's easier said than done!
    Hope everybody's Christmas was magical
thank you all for your responses!
I will update again after the u/s.
