Default ***Spin Off*** Weirdest thing you've heard a kid say...

Probably been done before, but I love hearing about the odd and innocently creepy things that children say
    Got any gems?

I just saw a thing on FB which linked to 'creepiest things kids say about their imaginary friends'
    Totally freaky!

DD was very upset the other day about her daddy dying. Further probing it was because she'd see white in his beard ( ie Grey hairs).
DS has a Tree Daddy and an Uncle Dickie Wickie and today for the first time there's a grandma tree daddy. They all live on the moon...

On the way to town, there is a tree that for the last 12 months, pairs of strung up work boots have been appearing and growing in number - there are probably 7 pairs now and the tree is known by us as "the boot tree".

Not long ago, DD(8) said, I think know the secret of the boot tree. I said "Oh yeah?" and she said "I think there is an angry person who kills men wearing boots and when she kills a man, she puts his boots in the tree".

    Well now....

DS has been asking lots of questions about our jobs lately. DH is a teacher, I am admin. Today DH turned it back on him and said "what does daddy do at work?" DS thought about it and said "ummmm. Get money from the ladies?"

Apparently my DH is a pimp now...

Just remembered something that DS did when he was aged around 8 or 9; not so much creepy, just random, really- he was spending the weekend with a friend and at some point had decided to create an elaborate tale about his name really being "Larry". Apparantly he assured his friend's mother that his actual birth name was in fact Larry so convincingly that when it came time for me to pick him up she took me aside and said "I didn't know that ......'s real name was Larry" and I was like, "um, what?" She went on to tell me that he had told them a family member who died was named Larry and I had wanted DS to be named after him, but we used his middle name as his everyday name... He had kept up the charade all weekend without a hint of humour and had them all calling him "Larry".
    My oddball child...

More so random because I don't know where he learnt it but the other day my 2.5yo DS exclaimed at a trolley that someone had abandoned on a nature strip "silly trolley! Go home you're drunk". Then cackled at himself o.O
