Thanks for thinking of me Jeannie.

The appt went well I guess. It's always just so hard hearing that your age and diminished ovarian reserve is the reason you get crappy embies!
We are doing some bt's and dh has to provide a sample to do a sperm dna fragmentation test. So it'll be a couple of months before we can start.

He did agree to do an agontist/antagonist conversion protocol cycle for me (which I asked Dr Bradbury to do at cycle 3 and she said no). You basically start out like a long down on bcp and then lucrin, but then you switch over to orgalutran and then stim with alternating days of gonal f/menopur. There is a thread on here about it and I just watched a webinar of a Dr Sher from the states who uses this protocol alot with success. In fact that's all he uses for older women with low amh.

It just so happens my new FS has consulted with Dr Sher on this protocol and has started using it too so we shall see how we go. big $$ for the cycle though, before saizen and other extras's it's $5k out of pocket

    How are you doing Jeannie?

hope epu went well patience and you got lots of eggs!

Glad to hear that everything is going well Mrs Jaguar.

    to everyone else

5 eggs collected, better than I ever hoped for! Now we wait until tomorrow for fertilization results... I was basically awake through the whole thing I remember everything! It didn't really hurt much only thing is afterwards in recovery I got really sick, nausea and vomiting so I was there for 4 hours instead of 2. Feeling alot better now

Thanks for all your well wishes ladies

Only one fertilised so.my transfer is tomorrow. I'm really trying to stay very positive and hoping this is the one! A little anxious but what can you do, I can't change anything I can only hope for the best. I have acupunture booked right before and then again straight after transfer so hope that will help :-)

As Chiefs said, you only need one if it's the right one. Good luck for transfer and the painfully slow 2 weeks ahead!
