Mrs j, great news:-) and Bel I'm so excited for you :-).
Today I had bloods and ultrasound the told me 8 follicles are all progressing really well so I have to go back Monday for another Ultrasound and the nurse said that they would expect that they will be booking me in for egg pick up. I'm a little nervous as both ovaries are adhered to back of uterus and my FS is just aiming at trying to retrieve at least 1 good egg. But I have a very traumatic time at egg collection due to pain and I feel it all.. But this is my only way for me to get my little miracle:-) so I'm also excited!!!

    Welcome everyone!

    Such a relief MrsJ!

Chiefs, still rooting for you (see http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...&defid=2034559 - I am using the US version of the definition of course).

Yay Sarah and soreal for moving forward for next week. FX all goes smoothly for yous.

I had US + bloods today (CD9). Bit disappointed that we have only 3 > 10mm (we had more than 5 that were 18-19mm in the last cycle @ CD9!). The nurse wanted to do another US on Monday and go from there, but I remembered the FS saying we should try to do the EC earlier this time to decrease the chance of P4 getting high again. So the nurse talked to Dr Fong, and I am now booked for EC on Tuesday. Another blood test on Sunday. Hopefully the progesterone still stays low, and we end up with a fresh cycle that isn't cancelled. Downside is that we may not have enough matured eggs Not sure if I did the right thing by influencing the nurse to change her initial POA..This is so unnecessarily complicated. Just trying to stay positive that it will work out..

@mumnetqn - Frustrating! It's such a balancing act. If they go ahead with the pick up as booked... could you talk to them about a longer trigger? Might give those eggies a bit of a chance to mature. That's what we did in our last cycle. Only had 3 eggs retrieved (from 4 follicles on scans, average sized) BUT they were decent.

Thanks MrsJ, not sure if I will get any reply back for any changes before I trigger tomorrow night, so I'm gonna leave it as it is and hope for the best. So you had 3 eggs collected, and two have given you BFP? That's a pretty encouraging story! Did you take anything besides the normal Lucrin/Gonal-F/Trigger drill before the EPU?

Yes, my cycle was 3 eggs collected, all 3 fertilised and all 3 made to blasts. Complete rarity. We transferred 1 (Georgia!) and froze the other two. This very early pregnancy is #2. Must have been a VERY lucky cycle.

I did a longer trigger (36 hours?) with this cycle, but other than Coq10 & Metformin, everything else was pretty standard. Crinone & pessaries too.

    Sending you lots of luck!!!

Another negative and my official test day is tmw.

God I am so friggin over this.

This was my fifth cycle with Wfc and I think we'll be changing clinics now. I need a FS who will try other things than just gonalf and lucrin.

Massive hugs, who's your FS? I changed FS at cycle 4 as I was frustrated with my cycles. And lack of investigation to Dr Smith and found him to be so thorough and he then involved Cecilia the embryologist - 2 transfers later I got a bfp. Worth a thought, maybe just change specialists? Xxx
