    Hello,
Can I ask a question to the ladies who had FET after a freeze-all? What day past ovulation was your transfer? Since WFC does a freeze on day-2, it's a bit confusing when I should expect the transfer to be, once ovulation is confirmed. Just worrying that the transfer may fall on one of the 3 days that DH is away this month
    Thanks!

Mumnetqn, mine were frozen at day 1. I had a day 5 transfer. Ovulation was confirmed on the Saturday and I went in for my FET on the Thursday.
Hope your dates line up so your partner can be there. Maybe call the nurses and tell ask them?

Missalina, it's not happened to me before as I'm a poor responder who is on 450 gonal f! It sounds like they might be worried you will get ohss which is a very serious condition. And essentially means you are producing too many eggs. Make sure you are drinking at least 2l water everyday and keep your protein up and they say to drink Gatorade type drinks after epu.

On the epu without et don't stress about that. I've heard on other threads that some FS prefer to do that as it gives your body a rest from the meds. There are many success stories on here about frozen transfers and mumnetqn is about to do one this month.

I'm hoping this turns out Alrite I'm in so much pain today I can barely sit down even my back is in pain it feels like it's radiating up my sides when I phoned the nurses they said it's just my ovaries being so enlarged but I didn't expect this amount of pain from my ovaries

    Hi ladies,
I started with WFC for my 1st cycle and my Gonal F on Tuesday.
Just wanted to say hi and see where everyone else is up to at the moment.
My next appointment is on Sat for blood test and pick up the next lot of drugs.

Sorry to hear that Miissalina. I didn't have that problem but I have heard OHSS can be very painful.

Welcome Kymbo! Good luck with your first cycle. I was lucky to have success on my first cycle. Wishing the same for you.

Welcome Kymbo! Hope your journey at WFC will be short and sweet.

Miissalina, my IVF transfer was cancelled due to high progesterone. My oestrogen was fine at around 3000 at CD10. I read high oestrogen means high number of eggs (I had 14 collected), so likelihood of OHSS, which I heard can be quite painful and drinking a lot of water (at least 2l) helps, like chiefs mentioned. With OHSS, again lot of ladies seem to have gone for a FET in the next cycle, instead of continuing with ET that cycle to increase chances and reduce the added discomfort of OHSS if you do fall pregnant. Good luck!

I have been told I was at high risk of OHSS but when my first bloods came back they were lower than expected, so the nurse actually called me to increase my dose.
I hope you feel better soon Miissalina.

Thanks Hayley, It's really great to hear such positive news about your first cycle, fingers crossed
