    Gorgeous Jeannie!

    Hi Sam. I feel lucky now that I live so close! Hope it all works really quickly for you. Can't believe it's cheaper to come down here than stay in QLD.

    We were out of pocket around that much including specialist fees. Good value!

    @jeannie he is so gorgeous!
    @Sam90 it depends on how you are going to pay. If you do the Medicare safety net claim back thing it will be close to $4600 you will need to pay on the day. You get an interim receipt and then on the day of transfer you will receive an itemised receipt that you send to Medicare and they will refund you directly. If you haven't reached the threshold for the year it's about 1400-1600 you will be out of pocket (so the refund check will be around $3k).

    But if you are doing it the other way, I think you pay the $1400 out of pocket directly to westmead and fill in a form for Medicare which pays westmead directly. But it means you are out of pocket the exact same amount for every cycle you do in one year.

    I did 4 ivf cycles last year, the first one I was out of pocket 1400 but the subsequent ones it was only 490 (and that's because I paid an extra 200 for lucrin). I think the prices have gone up slightly this year but not much.

    How are you going to handle all the scans and blood tests during the cycle? Normally once you start fsh you go in for a bt on day 6 then you have bt and ultrasounds every cpl of days till you're ready for epu.

    Afm- I had a bad day today. I woke up feeling quite ill. Almost like I was hungover! I got up, took my meds and had a small brekkie then went back to bed. Unfortunately we had to drive back up to Auckland today so I had to get up eventually! I'm trying not to read to much into it, I don't have sore boobs or anything and had more symptoms before and thought I was pregnant but wasn't! I am 5dp5dt so will probably start poas on Friday.

    Are there any doctors in Westmead Fertility that can collect only one or two eggs? I have a really low ovarian reserve. Thanks

    @banshee the FS who do egg collection vary as to what day you go in. You don't necessarily get your FS for epu.

    That being said I had an amh of 1.5 when I started and only got 2 eggs but we still went to collection. Both fertilised and one was put back in but it didn't take that time.

    Sad news.. I had 14dpo bloods - 93 & 16dpo bloods - only 145. Not looking great.

    Unfortunately this morning's pee stick looks even lighter. Went back to the fertility centre this morning so they can check numbers & progesterone, but yeah.. I think we might be heading towards a loss.

    @mrsjaguar don't give up hope. As I said on the other thread I know of another lady whose numbers were slow but she is 22 weeks now.

    Sending you lots of positive vibes xxxx

    Mrs Jag your numbers are within range, have you done another frer? Is it getting darker? Wfc told me 150+ at 14 days so your pretty much spot on - keeping everything crossed for you xx

    This morning's FR looks lighter, which is another cause for concern. Unfortunately at 14days, I was only at 93. It wasn't until yesterday at 16dpo that I hit 145.
