Good luck with your ultrasound today MrsJag. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts re my work situation. Yes it is very unfair that in 2014 women still suffer from discrimination in the work place because of pregnancy and family commitments. Unfortunately discrimination is also difficult to prove.

On a happier note, For the the role call, we are waiting to find out the sex until we meet our little one. The due date is 28 August. Can not wait to see bubs at the Morph scan on Monday. I actually want the weekend to fly by. We also have a midwife appointment Monday so it will be a day with my DH, devoted solely to bubs. I am going shopping tomorrow to pick out a couple of essential clothing items.

    Have a great Friday everyone!

Nooooooooooooooo! Do you know what's causing it? I don't normally get it bad during the stim phase, but I've been on DHEA for the last few months and it's been bad on my chin neck and back

Well, my scan was a bit ridiculous. I went in expecting my standard PCOS diagnosis. Instead, the ultrasound report reads for a 'postmenopausal patient' and goes on to talk about a thick lining (>10mm) and endometrial hyperplasia. I'm officially confused & slightly terrified.

I've never had a lining issue before, though as my good friends tell me, that's not unusual for it to be thick, since I've had no period & have been breastfeeding for 12 months until we weaned completely last week. But it recommends further gynie testing to rule out masses or lesions, despite the report saying none were discovered. Doesn't mention much about my PCOS except that my ovaries are enlarged.

I'll be seeing GP on Tuesday, before FS on Thursday, but yeah - not what I was expecting.

Mrsjaguar - post menopausal??? I think they are just commenting on things without taking your history into account!

Good luck for the appt this week.

AFM- still jabbing away, unfortunately the lucrin is bruising me a bit this week, and I put on a kg! I am on steroids and saizen though so pretty bloated. On a high, I played my first game of netball today in a year and a half and it was great! We lost, but I still really enjoyed getting out there.

Hi chiefs, I played my first game of netty in a few years yesterday too! Was good to get back into it after putting my life on hold for TTC. Boy am I sore today!

Mrsjaguar: that US sounds very strange, hopefully it's all normal for a breastfeeding mumma? xx

Hope your acne settles soon Jen, such a yucky sideeffect :-(
