Emmajane, that's great news! Here's to all the rest of the scans being perfect too.

Littleduck, hooray for little girls! I'm so glad your bub is healthy - half way done now, half way to go!

AFM, I had a scan on Sat which showed four follicles, all 10-14mm, and I have another scan today. Probably trigger tonight and EPU on Thursday morning. I'm a bit sad to only get four follicles; the whole point of this long protocol was to get more; but if they all mature and fertilise then we're still in with a chance. Please cross your fingers for me.

I got to play with my nephews (2.5 and 4.5) and new niece (2 months) yesterday - even got to feed my niece. It was so lovely to hold a baby.

Good to hear you're on your way roro. I hope this week goes beautifully for you. I know I've said it before but I only had four follicles too and felt disappointed at the time, but it turned out well for us, so I'm all for quality over quantity! In the meantime, lovely that you're getting bubby cuddles. Better get in practice, your time must be getting close!

Thank you lovelies! I just got the call from the FS: trigger 10:30pm tonight and EPU at 10:30am on Friday. So I get a long weekend .

Thanks NAT for the reminder that it's quality, not quantity, and from four follies I could be as lucky as you and get two babies at once! Remind me: did you put back two embies or just the one? I seem to remember you just had one put back and it split into twins?

We had three fertilise, put two in. One resulted in a blighted ovum and one split into our beautiful girls. I can highly recommend twins! We were only talking last night about the blessing it has been to have our family and not have to go back to try again.

Having said that, we came very close to triplets, and a friend of ours is having triplets from two embies, so that's always a real possibility.

Are you thinking of doing two?

Best wishes for Friday RoRo! I hope you get some great enthusiastic eggs!

It's definitely quality over quantity. Just look at Nat as the perfect example :-)
