    Hi everyone,

Nat, I'm really happy to hear the scans went well. I'm not sure how concerned you were about a possible issue but at least now you have an answer and its a good one and you can move on!

EmmaJane, very happy for you. I'm sure you will love SA and I hope you have success first time! I wouldn't worry about proven vs unproven donors. In the beginning it seemed important to us too but we came to realise that the definition of proven can actually be a bit loose. It could mean there was just a good number of eggs, it could mean that there was just one egg that happened to create a pregnancy, it could mean that there was a pregnancy even if it didn't continue. Personally I would try to have faith in the age of the donor and her hopefully good health. I don't know if you considered it but you can ask for her AMH to be tested. It costs about $60-$70AUD but it was money well spent for us as the donor we had originally chosen, whilst young, actually turned out to have an abnormally low AMH for her age. This is probably rare though and they would hopefully raise concerns to you after doing her Antral follicle count scan.

RoRo, hope you're getting on ok. Not long now.

I am 34+4 today, and I'm just home from my baby shower. On the home stretch now.

Thanks for the advice re: proven vs unproven MrsErinR. I think I will get her AMH tested, just for peace of mind.

I hope you had a great baby shower . Not long now, it seems like just yesterday you got your BFP.

Oh Roro, the silence is killing me! Any news, or is bub being a sleeper-inner?

And how are you, MrsErinR? Only a few weeks left!

Hi Gentoo, I think RoRo is due in the first week of Feb. I'm 36 weeks today and so I have about 2.5 weeks to go before my c-section.

I'm doing ok mostly. Have been a bit anxious about something going wrong now that we're at the business end of the pregnancy.

I'm having regular CTG monitoring as I'd gone in a few times feeling worried about reduced movement. Bub has been fine each time so I suspect the monitoring is more to ease my anxiety! Cheeky little thing likes to scare me by being really active for a couple of weeks and then having some downtime.

... labour with forceps in the end, but he's perfect. Sleeping snuffling next to me right now after a good feed. I've just had my first hour of sleep in 48 hrs so will try for more. Pics and birth story later.

Wonderful news! I'm so thrilled that he's arrived! It's a much-deserved happy ending for you.

Love the name :-) Now (the tricky bit) try and get some rest!
