    Hi

RoRo, I have "toilet and shower privileges" :-). Thank goodness I can at least do those couple of things myself.

The latest here is that I'm having another scan on Friday and if there is further improvement the doctor will discharge me on Saturday! Yay! I will just be going home to continue bed rest there though, so still not life as normal. 23 weeks tomorrow for me.

I really have my hopes up about going home now. I'll be devastated if it doesn't actually happen. 4 weeks in hospital is a long time.

    X

GAH I've been away for ages!! So...

Congrats wunsi!! Any news of late?

RoRo you're getting so close! When do you start leave?

MrsE I'm glad that you're being taken care of! That must've been so frightening at first. Here's hoping you get to chillax in the comfort of your own home from here on in xx

Not too much new to report on my end, Z continues to grow in leaps and bounds💗. Have 4 months of mat leave left! I can't help but count it down:/.

I'll let you know if we win the lottery this weekend lol.

    Hugs all round xx

Great to hear things are good at your end Little Duck

Nat, I was also coming to see if MrsE had been 'let out' too. I hope so, bed rest at home would've nicer than at hospy.

AFM: scan on Wednesday. Hope we see a flicker.

Hi ladies, sorry for the late update. Scan went mostly well. The clot had halved in size but my amniotic fluid was low. The doctor thinks that is due to the medication I was on so I've stopped that now. Fingers crossed that that fixes it.

So, I was discharged and I'm now resting at home until another scan on Thursday. Really hoping clot has gotten even smaller and the fluid levels are back in normal range. Maybe I'll be allowed to do a bit more then. I'd love to be able to just sit up a bit more, and maybe go out for a drive or something!

Yay yay yay!! My only advice is to thoroughly enjoy! Congratulations. I'll never forget that first BFP and I was lucky that it was a thoroughly successful pregnancy. Enjoy

Nat, scan went well. The SCH is still there but gradually getting smaller. My amniotic fluid was back to normal levels...what a relief that was! Bub still totally fine :-)

Sadly for me, doctor has still prescribed another 4 weeks of bed rest at home! It is SO BORING, but I am doing as I'm told. My eye is on the end prize.

As a result I've pretty much had to start maternity leave now as another 4 weeks bedrest takes me through to 2 weeks before I would have finished up. I can't imagine that after 4 weeks he is going to let me go back to life as normal. I'm sure I'll remain on some level of restricted activity until bub arrives.

That's great news mrserinr. I can imagine that the bed rest is frustrating but of course it will be more than worth it. If you need ideas on things to do while resting that you'll appreciate when bubs comes, let me know! I ended up with only one single day of leave when I finished work before babies came unexpectedly and I still long for that prep time to this day!! Ha!
