I actually cried with relief right there on the table. MrsErinR, you're right, it's hard to describe the feeling of knowing that everything is okay after being so sure that it was over.

Now I have to choose an obstetrician. I've never been at this stage before - it's all new from here on in.

That's fantastic Mrs ErinR and RoRo, it's great that everything is working out for you both.

AFM, I think I have convinced my DP to do the donor egg from SA thing - so if we don't get pregnant with a rainbow by my 40th birthday we will start the donor egg process. I feel really good about it and it has taken the pressure off me, knowing that we have that option. If it wasn't for the fact that we are buying a house at the end of this I would want to do it now.

That's great news EmmaJane. It certainly helped me a lot when we made that decision as it lifts the pressure immensely. Let me know if you want any info although you can learn just about anything from the South Africa thread. Having said that, I hope you don't need it :-)

Thanks MrsErinR, I think when it gets nearer the time I will read the thread from the start and squeeze all the info I can from it. I have been following along for a few weeks now and it is certainly inspirational.

Fantastic news both mrserinr and Roro. Such a relief that first scan is done and you've seen that little flicker. I think it brings a tear to everyone's eye when you see that the first time.

Are you both going private? Let us know how your appts go.

EmmaJane, that sounds like a good plan. I always like a plan.

Afm- awaiting AF and then onto the first FET. A bit nervous to be entering this process again, but excited also.
