It has been a real rollercoaster the last few weeks actually. It is sad for our first donor. I don't know if she actually knows yet but the nurse said she is coming in to see the doctor on Tuesday and they will go through it offer her some advice and counselling. I think it's great that they do that.

I've asked our agency to thank her and wish her the best with it. It's all anonymous so I can't contact her directly. Even though AMH is low, she is young and her eggs are probably good. She may have no issues at all, but we can't risk going through this to only get a low number of eggs.

I was told last night to stop the pill on Sunday as planned, so I think that means we are still headed for the planned dates with the new donor

Roller coaster indeed MrsE! But amazing that you're able to carry on, even if it is with another donor. Keep us posted xx

MrsErinR, what a trial for both of you. I hope your new donor passes all the tests and everything works okay. And poor first donor; I hope she's able to get her own children eventually!

AFM I'm on the verge of ovulation and it's just as much pressure as ever. I've been to a naturopath this month and am taking a nasty mix of herbs twice a day. Haven't noticed any difference so far. I've got an FS appointment tomorrow to find out whether they're willing to do any further testing on my recurrent implantation failures; we'll see.

Littleduck, your little duckling looks so sweet. How are you going in preparation for the grand arrival? Nursery all sorted?

Good luck roro. If it concerns you, don't ask your FS, TELL him/her that you would like the next step in investigations. Maybe putting your bossy boots on will take you to the next step Thinking of you, let I us know how you go. xo

    RoRo, how did you go?

I'm continuing the rollercoaster. I was particularly stressed yesterday when I learnt that our new donors screening was Wednesday. Seemed a big wait. I expressed my concern and it was shuffled to today, which is a bit better I guess. I would have preferred it was done by now though!

So, I'm trying hard to be patient. We are due to leave in 11 days and we don't even know if it's going ahead at all, or on our current dates, or on some other dates. I tell you what, for this amount of anxiety this had better result in a baby!!!!
