Sorry to hear your news Soques. Very disappointing after all the build up. Was this your first IVF cycle?

I think you would still get the Medicare rebate that you would ordinarily be entitled to for the pickup. Sadly, I don't think you'd get any extra as the transfer is not covered by Medicare anyway.

As for ovary function, have you had an Antral Follicle Count? That is an ultrasound early in the cycle where they see how many follicles are trying to kick off (in a non IVF cycle). They often do it just to assess your likely response to fertility treatment. I don't know if it counts as a test as to whether ovary is functioning but it seemed to me that it might.

I am not saying I am going to change FS... But just want to be open to the possibility...

What clinics are there in Sydney?

Hi ladies. I am PUPO again. Fingers crossed.

The embryo was 7 cells when they thawed it yesterday and started compacting over night.

Soques, I'm not in NSW but people seem to have good things to say about Genea.

    X

Soques, before I moved to ACT, I remember looking into an IVF clinic at Bondi Junction that looked pretty good. I think it was called Fertility East.
