    Default Yaz after Caesarian

Has anyone started Yaz pill about 10 days after a c section?? From what I have read you are supposed to wait 21 days but for a few reasons I wish to start earlier. I have had minimal to no bleeding post Caesarian. Anyone done this and had or not had problems? Thanks

If you are not breastfeeding, you can take a combined pill like Yaz. If you were b'feeding at all it would reduce your milk supply.
I would be concerned about you starting a pill like Yaz so soon after a C-section as the operation puts you at increased risk of DVT (clot in the leg) which would be increased if you add the pill onto it. I think it's best to wait a minimum 4 weeks, ideally 6 weeks.
    Please speak to your GP/OB/pharmacist.
