    Default Elf on the Shelf

probably been done and over done but thoguht id start a thread on it.
    Do you do it?
Share some pics of your elf
    whatever.

My kids are almost 3 and 11mths and i dont see the big deal in it all and i think my dd is not quite ready for all that yet, but i do get a laugh at what these little elves get upto!

A friend of mine who has a dd same age as mine does elf on the shelf and goes above an beyond, i dont know where she finds the time. But her dd seems to enjoy the activites and what not.

Can you explain what it's all about? I've seen some pics on FB but I don't know what they are meant to be...

I don't know the full story of them but I think it's like santas elf is watching, he does all different things during the night when you're sleeping and you wake up to see what his adventures were. At least that's my understanding anyway :-)

He pretty much just watches them during the day and reports back to Santa at the North Pole each night. When he returns he does something funny, or hides somewhere on a shelf- so the kids can find him in the morning.
A little reminder to behave during the silly season (lots of Christmas parties and late nights!) and loads of fun. I love Christmas- this makes it a month-long celebration for us 😊
