    Default Renting and pets

    Hi all

I've been wanting to get a pet for a while now and I decided to take my kids to the animal refuge over the weekend. Well we have fallen in love with this dog and I really would like to be his forever home.

However as we are renting I've had to ask for the owners approval. I went into the real estate office today and put in a pet application. The real estate lady told me she would phone the owners and get back to me. I'm so nervous and I do not want to get knocked back nor do I want anyone to adopt my dog in the meantime...

Does anyone know how long it takes to be approved? I don't want to harrass them or be pushy...

    Any advice would be great.

    TIA
