Default Negative (all but) frer but positive digital

Hi - just wondering if anyone has experienced this - at 13dpo I got a barely visible (I.e. squint very hard to see it) second line on a frer. Same again at 14dpo. Did a digital test that day that came up positive. Out of curiosity did another frer today (16dpo) thinking that finally it should be showing a darker second line - but nope, if anything the line (if there even is one) is harder to make out. I'm going to grab another digi today, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I am seeing the dr on tues so hopefully bloods can be tested...

Hmm, that's strange! Might have been faulty FRERs, as the digital tests aren't as sensitive.

I got a positive digi a few days before a frer showed positive. I don't think the old frer is as good as it used to be.

I'd put money on it being a big "congratulations"

FYI, the top one was fmu 2 days after positive digital test, second is afternoon and the other two are 3 days after digi.

Thanks MrJones&Me - I'm keeping everything crossed too.

Ooh skulduggery thanks for the info and the pics - it is sounding positive for me then. (And congrats on your bfp!).

    Lol moosey!

My friend got a positive on a digi at 9DPO (IVFer so she gets them early) but the FRER was so incredibly faint for days and days.

I don't know if the FRER quality has dropped or not but my BFP in Feb 12 at 11DPO was a lot darker than my BFP in Jul 13 at 11DPO. I put that down to different pregnancies, though!

All in all, I've never gotten a false positive off a digi (and in my experience, chemicals rarely turn a digi positive) so I'd say that congratulations are in order!
