    Default would you be annoyed?..

I have booked a hall AND PAID FOR IT for ds2's 1st birthday tomorrow. Initially the lady said I can get the keys at 12pm and it's ours from then on. Today it's a different story. She has booked in a lunch for 105 people until nearly 4.30!!! WTF?! WHEN am I supposed to have time to set up?! They still have to clean their rubbish up! and she knows we are self catering and how am I supposed to have everything ready by 6pm.?! I have 80 people coming. omg I just want to scream.

I would be annoyed at the changing story - but truthfully, normally when you book a hall, you only get the time that you pay for.

So if you only paid for tomorrow, they should be able to book someone else for today.

Still - they should have told you that you needed to book/pay for set up time.

Hope you get things organized for tomorrow

I would ask for a refund for the day and just pay for the hours you actually have access to the hall. If you paid to use it during the day then she is absolutely done the wrong thing.

I would be expecting a refund for the hours you can't use the hall. That's not on.

I am super freaking out. I had told her (mum was with me) that we wanted to hire it all day and night as we wanted to be organised earlier and as we are self catering it will give us time so we don't need to rush with the food. and now this!!! She only told me when I rang to make sure she will meet us there for the keys tomorrow. Omg i feel like crying.

I would definitely be asking for some sort of refund.

Do they have to be cleaned & OUT by 4.30? I bl00dy hope so.. coz otherwise there is going to be no time between.

You are going to have to be super organised. Prep as much as you can at home - even cook any food etc that you can and then just reheat. Blow balloons up at home (if ur using them) etc.

Im with you though 100%. I would be furious and I would be freaking out.
