    Default Cream cheese icing?

Does anyone have a good recipe they would like to share?

I keep finding different ones online, some with butter and some without, and I'm not sure which one to go with.

I need white icing for a birthday cake

I use the Magnolia Bakery one

    • 2 packets cream cheese, softened slightly, cut into small pieces
    • 110g unsalted butter, softened slightly, cut into small pieces
    • 1½ tsp vanilla extract
    • 5 cups sifted icing sugar

In a medium-size bowl, on the medium speed of an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth, about 3 minutes. Add vanilla extract. Gradually add sugar and beat until well incorporated.
