    Default Childcare cert 3 or diploma help- unit identify and respond to children at risk

    i have a quesiton in my study that has me stumped I would love any advise! thanks

    "Outline common legal issues that may arise in your day to day work in the area of exploitation of children "

    all i have so far is respect privacy of children

    confidentiality over personal records.

    talking, gossiping, putting photos on the internet -

    i am just so confused

    I think what you have is good. Been awhile since I did my diploma...but a few thoughts:

    - legal implications on parents or educators using phones in the centre (most have cameras now so could pose a risk)
    - educators taking work home (what if their USB or camera was stolen with images of chn, these could be exploited)

    Many centers have policies on these things. If you can find a centre website that has their policies on it (many do) you could probably get more info. Look for electronic media policy, confidentiality, programming etc.

    Will have more of a think...
