Totally normal as others have said

I just wanted to add though that I think it's actually a good thing that you have those "what if something was wrong" conversations with your husband. Chances are everything will be fine, but it's good to know you're on the same page, rather than trying to figure things out in the event you do get some unwelcome news.

Good luck with everything, I hope you have a healthy and uneventful pregnancy!

Thanks all, as mentioned in another post, I've had a sense of deep calm and contentment overcome me in the last few days, feeling very positive now for some reason.

I am 30, miscarried earlier this year, and hoping to bring this (first) baby to term. I definitely feel your anxiety. But my mom said something very profound and encouraging this morning: "You're quite a bit older than I was when doing this for the first time. You need to take the time to enjoy it - all of it - because you're not going to do it 5 or 6 more times. Your worry doesn't change anything. So ENJOY your morning sickness." lol I thought she was crazy as I was puking my guts out. But the more I think about it, the more I realize she's right.

I wish I could relax, my worries are back after I thought I'd overcome them. I'm just over nine weeks, haven't even had a dating scan as I'm too anxious not to get attached in case something bad happens

You and I are right about the same time. I haven't been to the doctor either. Tho I have to go tomorrow because I'm losing too much weight with the morning sickness and can't keep fluids down.

Just remember, don't let the fear of something bad keep you from enjoying something good.
