    Default Hi!

Hello, I am new to this whole baby business thing and came here because I think I might be pregnant. Looking for some advice and tips. Here it goes:

    1) my partner is 34 and I am 33. We live on the Northside of Brisbane.
    2) I am originally from Canada but I have now been in Australia for ten years.
    3) we have a beautiful staffy fur baby named Rory
    4) I used to weight over 140kg and now weight 70(ish) and had been diagnosed with PCOS.
    5) Just this week had just gotten used to the idea of a childless existence. But now I am unexpectedly excited.

The one quirky thing is after 10 years of living here I still can't say aluminium the Australian way.

    Hi everyone,

I've been reading some posts over the past few years and thought that I should introduce myself as I hope to hang around awhile longer

    1. I am Mumma to my fur baby, Yogi
    2. I am going off the pill in June, hoping to TTC from July onwards
    3. I am 31 and very excited for parenthood
    4. I am a teacher at an all boys' school (they sure keep me on my toes!)
    5. I love reading and travelling

My quirk: I can't cook a good soup from scratch (even though I can confidently cook other main meals)

    Default Newly expecting

    Hiya!
I'm no good at introductions, so here we go!
    1) I found out I'm expecting today!
    2) I'm 26 and hubby is 28, we live in Sydney
    3) I have 2 furrbabies, my cats.
    4) hubby and I have been together for 7&1/2 years, married for 1&1/2
    5) My baby is due 6 days before my birthday!

    A quirk?

    1. I'm horse obsessed
    2. I'm an introvert, my circle of friends is quite exclusive
    3. I stand up for the little guy, even if the little guy is a big guy (was raised to speak up when I see something wrong rather than look the other way) and even if it gets me in sticky situations.
    4. I adore children, I'm one of those weirdos that will offer to change a stinky nappy lol practice makes perfect I guess?
    5. I don't associate with half my family because 90% of them are narcissists

    Quirk
From the age of 9 I always said I wanted to be a single mum, I've changed my mind now I'm with OH

    Hi all,

I'm super new to everything (including this forum and TTC)...

    So, five things:
    1. Have been married coming up on 6 years now
    2. We've recently started trying for our first - and I'm so excited
    3. I'm joining this forum because TTC isn't something you can really have an open dialogue with people about - and I'm dying to discuss/talk about it with someone other than the hubs.
    4. I'm really introverted - probably the reason I feel like I could maybe talk about all things future baby with 'strangers' on the Internet.
    5. Like caseyleec, the hubs and I are huge Harry Potter nerds and giant comic book / gaming / anime fans.
And a quirk... Boy, this is hard because a lot of my personality would be considered 'quirky' by most.

I'm a giant typography nerd (graphic designer by trade) and can usually pick most fonts from signs, billboards etc. in daily life (and drive my husband crazy with pointing them out in public (and by voicing my opinions!)...)
