Default 5 things and something quirky

Hi this is my first post ... Five things about me and something quirky does sound like a bit of a challenge. .so here goes
    1. I do find it hard to know what to put on any form that says "so tell us about you"
    2. I'm a proud new mum of a 10 week old baby boy who I find just mesmerizing so much that I feel I could just watch him all day ...that does sound strange outloud ..lol
    3. I have a lovely partner who's totally supportive and lost when it comes to parenting but he's great with a shopping list and changing nappies...All in all I feel pretty lucky.
    4. I have a new found love of going to mothers group ..i look forward to it all week, if i could id like to go every second day ..5. I think I'm rambling, personality flaw ..I'm indecisive and easy going with a positive outlook on things it's always better to laugh at ones self than to let it get u down and cry
    My quirks. .........
Singing about everything and nothing makes me smile.

Hello everyone, mums and dads, mums to be and mums TTC. Here is a bit about me.

    1. I have just gotten married to my wonderful partner of 6 years in April this year, he has a 10 year old daughter from an ex girlfriend and we have been TTC for the past 2 years, I am 38 this year. (had operation for PCOS a year ago and laporoscopy for endometriosis 3 months ago)

    2. We bought our own home (I hate mortgages!) have 3 adorable cats and a chook who thinks she is a cat and hangs out with them all the time. (First time having cats, always had dogs growing up)

    3. I have too many interests, Jack of all trades and master of none, was a massage therapist, went into real estate briefly and am now studying at uni for my criminology degree.

    4. We live in Brisbane and enjoy gardening and the outdoors. At the moment trying to grow frost sensitive tropical Rambutans in our sub tropical climate.

    5. Hubby and I love travelling and are avid readers.

Quirk! I am still a child at heart, I like watching Japanese anime and playing computer games

    Hi Everyone,
Nice to read these 6 things!

    1. I'm new to this, I haven't posted on a forum before so I'll have to get used to the shorthand!

    2. I'm new to all things baby. I haven't really liked kids much and never thought I would want any but being with my husband makes me want to.

    3. I've been married just over 2 years and we have been together just over 8 years we started dating in high school

    4. I have 4 furbabies, 2 cats and 2 dogs. When my friends tell me about what their babies can do, it reminds me of my animals as they are doing similar things as the grow up.

    5. My husband and I do everything together and he is probably more excited than I am as that's just his personality.

Quirk - We taught our kittens how to sit, wait for us to say ok and they love road trips with the dogs

Thanks everyone for sharing your 5 things and quirks...here's mine:

    1. I'm 29, married to my awesome husband for almost 2 years now and we are 8 weeks away from meeting our baby!

    2. We have one furbaby: a black english cocker spaniel called sooty who snores louder than my husband!

    3. I've been an university now for almost 9 years, currently doing a PhD in climate science and loving it!

    4. We live in Sydney and don't really know many people where we live, which has been hard now that I'm working from home and not at uni everyday

    5. My husband says I've been nesting for atleast 8 years and prefers if I was pregnant all the time as I'm much less stressed

Quirk: I enjoy having conversations with myself about my research...no one argues back and it all makes sense to me!

Hi, here are 5 things and a quirk!

    1. I have been married 8 years. Met my partner through work and we have been together a total of 14 years.

    2. I am a mum to two boys. A 6.5 year old and a 21 week old.

    3. Took me 4 and a half years to concieve my second boy. I did a lot of ivf before falling pregnant. I lost that pregnancy at 16.3 weeks. Did some more ivf before giving up on the dream to have my second. A few months later I fell pregnant naturally! He was born at 32 weeks due to iugr but is perfect!

    4. I had a stroke after I gave birth to my second son. Only has affected my speech but very hard as I was due back to work as a teacher!

    5. Love outdoor sports: waterskiing, snow skiing, walking, tennis, netball.. The list could go on!

My quirk: I am a real perfectionist! Everything has it's place and I can't stand clutter!
