Default On the pill, mid-cycle brown spotting

    Hi ladies,
I've been on the pill for about 3 months since I stopped breastfeeding. Everything has been as normal, until yesterday, I'm not due for my period for another week but have had some brown discharge, like the start or end of my period. So far I've had nothing today but feel like I've been hit by a truck. I have taken every pill this month and always within about an hour of my normal time so there are no issues with skipped pills. Before I was pregnant, I was on the pill for years and didn't have any issues. I guess my concern is always pregnancy, but I've been so consistent with taking it and having had antibiotics or anything that I think would cause it not to work. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if this helps, but I found after birth any pill affected me where as before I was fine.

I had spotting every 10 days on the mini pill while bfing (and formula top ups) once af came the first time.
After bfing, I went back on the exact same pill... (levlen 30) and continued to get mid cycle spotting. My gp said that was odd, and put me on an increased dose (levlen 50) and I STILL spotted mid cycle. After 3 months, I got sick of it, went off the pill. I got it the first month, and it stopped. 13 cycles later, no spotting. But we were also ready to ttc again....so I know its not much help
