    Hi DaniSam

I am in the same situation as you - been ttc#2 since December 2013. I was diagnosed with PCOS since I was 19 and now I am 34. Medication didn't work for me. What did work for me - getting body/period everything normal was quitting sugar.. I know!!!.. but it worked for conceiving my daughter and I am hoping it will works this time around... I know ovulate day 15/16 every month and period on either day 26/27. I just got my period today - so fingers crossed for next month...

    Congrats on your BFP's.

Thankyou beclam3. Are you currently seeing a FS?

this is most probably a silly question but is there a book or something which helps you quit sugar. For example which are good and bad sugars etc.

I do agree that the body health plays a huge part in ttc.

Are you overweight by any chance? I have a few kgs to lose I believe. So I'm working on that. It's always so easy to put on and so hard to get off

    Not seeing a FS

But having acupuncture - started last month.

Yes there is a book on quitting sugar and that's what I have been doing.

I'm not overweight - people laugh when I say I have to lose weight to get pg. but with pcos - you need to be a healthy / optimal weight for your body. I know it sounds weird - but it's true.

I'm only 1kg off from when I fell pg the first time - so fingers crossed.

    Good luck.

I was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this year after TTC for about a year. I hadn't had a period since October last year. Have lost around 5kgs and since then Ive had AF for two months in a row! still no idea what my cycle length is etc but for me its a big step in the right direction! I was starting to get down a couple of weeks ago as I thought I had missed AF again and BFN but then AF arrived last week! Hopefully another couple of months time I will have some sort of idea on my cycle length to be able to calculate ovulation etc

Hope everyone is going well. It's gone quiet in here. Just thought I'd update everyone. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow! Very excited to meet baby soon. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1410170392.846123.jpg

    Guess who's back!

This thread is quiet now. What's the go ladies?!

Well DH and I have had a lovely break but we've come to the realisation that we may not be ready to give up yet. Mind you we have totally unravelled our baby preparations and both went and brought very impractical cars thinking we were over it lol. Oh well - a break was desperately required.

Good to see bub is nearly here B. It has felt like a long pregnancy lol. Longer for you I'm guessing

We had fully believed we had given up, even booked a 4 week driving holiday in Italy for September next year lol. We'll see how we go though. Not putting too much into it - no charting, no temping, no HPT's, just going with the doc's flow

I bet you are dying to just get it over with lol.
