Purplelove the trigger shot forces ovulation and is taken around day 14 and ovulation normal occurs 36 hours after taking the shot. It's worth asking FS about especially if you ovulate later in your cycle. It also helps for timed intercourse.

Interesting to hear a few people say they Ovulated around the day 17/18 ish.. My Dr said D14 was the best- but from what I have read for people with irregular periods and on clomid that they do O later.
Sorry for all my questions, but being so new to this I keep thinking of them- when people think they are Ovulating- how often do they try to DTD with their loved ones? Like is it every day, every second, a few days before they think they will O and then after etc... Or if I can do I do it as many times as we can handle/want to/find time to ! hahahahaha.. sorry if I am sounding dumb! haha

Usually the clinic tells me when to bd.
    I'll take Clomid days 3-7
Go for bloods on day 10 to check estrogen levels, and every second day until it's around 400-600. Between days 14-20.
Then I'll go for a scan to determine qty and size of follicles.
The clinic will give me a Pregnyl shot for that day and tell me to BD for the next 3-4 nights.
Then I'll go for bloods 7 days after trigger to see if I ovulated.

Hoping my new FS has a better plan as OBGYN just put me on clomid day 5-9 with day 21 bloods and said come back in 6 months if no bfp!
(I've been scanning on day 14 of my own accord to work out when to bd)

Does anyone else get cramping & pressure with ovulation?
TMI WARNING: feels like I need to pee every 5 minutes but feeling doesn't go away after I pee!!

Its mostly on my right side which is supposedly the side that has the dominant follicle. just not sure if this is normal as I've never ovulated before!!

When I ovulate, it feels like my va-jay-jay is going to fall out. There's a definite difference in my body, maybe that's your body's indicator. Fingers crossed!

My one time ovulating I thought I had come down with something. I sat on the loo for ages as I was sure constipated or would have the runs.
