So sorry to hear your bad news No3Please. Testicular cancer has one of the best full remission rates & is very treatable though, so please try and stay positive. We are all thinking of u here on the thread.

Nini, congratulations on your BFP! I know exactly how u feel, cautiously excited, I'm exactly the same. I have an 8 week ultrasound scan on the 3rd Jan, & if I see a heartbeat then, I think I'll relax & start to enjoy it. We will be due at similar times, I'm the 17th Aug, if all goes well of course.

Everyone else, hope you are well & keeping fingers crossed for bfp's xxx

Thanks Kate, our only real concern is he had a large melanoma cut out a few years ago and currently has nodules in his lungs that are too small to biopsy so we are unsure if this is primary testicular, or secondary melanoma. We're praying for primary so lymph nodes stay intact
We find out Wednesday! Fingers crossed

Triple FX for Wednesday x Thinking of you and your DH, No3Please

Kate9483, I'm glad I have someone to chat to that is in the same stage. I have my 7 week scan on January 3rd as well! We will have to swap stories!

I am hoping and praying my pregnancy lasts this time... I am still so worried. I am 4 weeks and 3 days at the moment and my previous miscarriage happened at 5 weeks and 3 days. Does anyone know if recurrent miscarriages happen at roughly the same time?

Hey Miss, I'm good, we're good. Doc has requested markers (bloods), we still won't know what he's doing until he gets those results.
If bloods are ok, he's going to leave it for a month to get more bloods and ultrasound - the lesion is only 2mm long so he doesn't want to take it out as the whole testicle will have to go and he says it's pointless at this stage.
If bloods are bad - it's coming out!

Geez Merls you've had a rough trot!! My fingers are crossed for you that it all works out. I thought this thread had gone quiet then I noticed the new thread link!
    Congratulations Nini! That's awesome news!

Well it turned out I wasn't pregnant and I was more disappointed than I thought I would be!! Right now I'm CD 8 and tomorrow (well today - Friday) I have an appointment with my awesome awesome FS/OB/GYN. I want to get bloods done again to see where the PCOS is at because I've been having regular cycles but they vary greatly in length. So I just want to make sure I'm actually ovulating and everything is working properly. If all goes well we will start trying seriously in about Feb/March. The only thing I'm dreading is going back on the pregnancy safe blood pressure tablets. The make me SOOOO tired!
