    Default Another car seat question!

Dd will be 10-11 months when ds is born. Currently in ahr meridian and WAY off any markers to turn her around. Shes a small bub 7kg at nearly 8mo.

We have a maxi cosi capsule for ds as it goes into bugaboo so he will be in middle. But im after a smaller car seat that's going to be safer FF once we do turn her at that 12 month mark? The meridian is very bulky. We have an amarok but still would like bit room if someone sits in third seat.

    Thanks

We bought my bub an infa kompressor caprice when she outgrew her maxi cosi capsule. It's a great slimline seat and takes up no more room than the capsule.
When she was in the capsule we had her behind the passenger seat- I'd imagine it would be hard to put a capsule in and out of the middle of the back seat?

    Eta- kompressor not Compaq

Ok thanks! With her rf my seat has to be forward a fair bit and its very uncomfortable. So hopefully we find a solution with a smaller car seat. I would love keep her rear facing as long poss.

I dont have lift kids in and out as I font drive so its only when im with df!

Is there a reason you want to turn her at 12 months instead of using it until she's at the line? I wouldn't suggest a 6m-8 seat as she most likely won't meet the safe to use line on an of them and the recline isn't as great as an 0-4 seat if you're going to be FF. Infa Kompressor Caprice is a great seat, very small and compact. I've seen them fit great in Alto's, Getz' and Swifts with with no issues.

No I am saying im looking for a new seat to keep her rear facing as long as possible but would like a smaller seat!

Sorry if my post seemed confusing. The lady at the shop made me so confused she said it was weight not lines yet the internet says diff!!!

Correct - now goes on height. I third the infa seats. My Kompressor takes up less room than a unity length ways and is quite slim.
