Default Please help: children's fairy stories

I'm Hoping bubhub can come to the rescue!

I remember reading the most beautiful stories about fairies when I was primary school aged. They were a series of them from the same author and they were the most beautiful illustrations. I've looked on Google and in book stores and I can't find them anywhere. I can't remember what they are called or the author.

I hoping someone on here will know because they were extremely popular when I was in primary school in the 90's.

My 3yr old is really into fairies and I want to buy her the books for Xmas!

I loved Ruth Manning-Sanders. She wrote lots of different books on fairy stories eg A Book of Princes and Princesses, A Book of Giants, A Book of Wizards etc.

Shirley Barber? I remember collecting the colouring books and the picture books in the 90s. I had a collection of fairy stories too.
