My physical cravings are starting to subside, I'm not really craving the taste of chocolate anymore, but it's the habit and the mental associations I have with chocolate and warmth, relaxing, and all nice feelings. Hopefully if I can get past that, I'll be able to enjoy a small serving of chocolate a few times per week and be satisfied with that!

    Hi everyone!
Just wanted to say you're all doing so well. I'm right there with you in the chocolate fast.
Not really missing it too much and trying like hell to keep alternative options healthy.

Been utilising yogurts, homemade bran muffins and tea to get around it.

Hang in there ladies! You should be so proud. Especially, since couple of you sounded like true addicts. It's got to be as hard as giving up ciggies!!

I've given up all sweets, cakes, biscuits etc along with chocolate (has made it easier!) lol hubby is doing it with me. Haven't had any cravings yet although SIL was eating after eights and I was dying for one!

    Pretty sure I've failed.

Nutella pizza on Saturday for DH work dinner.
Choc cherry slice at our playgroup Christmas party.
Really yummy hot chocolate last night.

    Will have to try harder.

I've been invited to a chocolate cafe on the weekend! But they sell churros so I'm just going to have them and very quickly give my dipping chocolate to someone else. I'm feeling really proud of myself and so grateful to you wonderful ladies in this thread for your support! Who would have thought giving up chocolate would be such a challenge?!

Went to a family function last night.
I asked for my cake to be void of chocolate sauce. I also gave DP the chocolate curl.
    All good!

Day 8 for me (I had chocolate bday cake last Saturday) and the cravings have gone! I did my groceries this morning and bought healthier snacks to munch on when I would usually eat chocolate. And my husband had 3 subway cookies with chocolate in them yesterday right in front of me and it didn't bother me one bit. So glad I decided to participate :-)c
