Question parenting payment assets test question

DH just found out that he will be losing his job in a couple of weeks and I'm a SAHM so I'm searching to see what we will be entitled to from centrelink until either of us finds a new job. From what I've been reading the parenting payment sounds like an option but I just want to check that I've read correctly that when they do an assets test they don't include your principle home? We own our home and if it's not included we'd qualify for the payment but if it is included then we wouldn't.

Can anyone confirm these details please?

Definitely not included if you live in it. Only investment properties are.

The online estimator will help you workout all the payments you're entitled too.
