We agreed on dd's name while pregnant. Along comes Isabel and I just did not think it suited her at all. Infact I refused to call her Isabel for the first few weeks and instead called her squishy. She looked like Emily to me.

7.5 months on I am happy with her name. Will never settle on a name during pregnancy again though.

Do you have any names you like berter? Max will grow on you again once he is here I'm sure.

I'd say wait til he arrives. With both our bubs DF would only suggest silly names and wouldn't really discuss it properly, so I did a list of about 8 names I would be happy to name our bub. I had a favourite each time... With DS I loved Nayte and with DD I loved Finlee, but when they were both born they looked like a different name...oddly both of them ended up with number 5 on the list!!

Perhaps! My oldies had a cat named TC (the cat) so maybe you could use that (the child)

We chose DSs name when I was pregnant as well. Towards the end of my pregnancy I started doubting the name, but by the time he was born I loved the name again!

I think Max is a great name and it goes well with you DDs name

This is what I did with my dd I think I just get nervous because it is their name forever.

I havent told df because last time he got so annoyed with me changing my name then I ended up back at my original decision lol
