    I was pregnant over Christmas too and was very sad about no ham, prawns and soft cheeses but I lived

    Both my pregnancies were over Christmas. I took my serve of the cold meats, excused myself (they all knew I was pregnant), nuked the crap out of it, and had that with a salad I had prepared just before the meal. As long as the salads are prepared immediately before should be fine.
