    Default Rash?

Hi ladies in the last 2 hours my 2 year old DS has this rash up both his arms, on his side and a bit on his thighs. He also has little red dots on his chest and arms which aren't raised or anything. The rash doesn't feel warm. He hasn't been outside and he hasn't touched or eaten anything different. Should I be taking him to a doctor? It looks darker irl

Here's a pic of his arm:

Does it fade when you press on it?

Personally rashes freak me out so I'd go to a dr still but if it blanches when pressed on apparently that is a good sign that its not one of the nasty rashes...

I get a similar looking rash from perfumed soap and moisturisers especially if its a hot day and Ive sweated. i usually get it in "hot places" like behind the knees and in creases in forearms.
When my kids get food allergy rashes they tend to look like raised sort of lumps that keep "moving" all over the body.
Any rashes that are accompanied by general feelings of unwellness or a fever I always take to the dr.

I would either go to A&e or get the home Dr in - but rashes freak me out a bit, especially ones like that, you are probably a bit calmer than me

Thanks ladies! He hasn't shown any signs of being unwell. There's no fatigue, no fevers and he has eaten all his dinner they're the only things keeping me calm at the moment. Otherwise I would be freaking out aswell! Ive just had another look and I *think* It has faded a bit.

The only thing I can think of is when I was washing the dishes he grabbed some bubbles...but he's done that before with the same dishwashing liquid and this hasn't happend. Maybe the bubbles were more soapy...he was wearing clothes so no idea how he would have gotten it on his side but maybe he pulled his shirt up who knows Im thinking Its that...but if Its still there in the morning I'm going to take him to the doctor.

    Thanks again ladies
