What a cow Berra!!! I would've given it to her then asked for a more supportive midwife. It's not like you were self prescribing insulin doses. I think it's great your gp was proactive with your family history.

Amps-I was told today that new guidelines state that the 2hr one is best as the short one doesn't give enough information.

Ngaiz - my ob just said he wanted to save me the trouble just in case the 1st showed up something and I had to go back for the 2hr, it's the full test anyway so with my history of dramas would be best to do it straight up. had a feeling that's what he was going to say.

Berra - that's awful on her part. Not ok. Speaking from experience, if a caregiver makes you uncomfortable, demand a new one, it can make or break your experience. I'd speak to the num too.

Amps - how exciting for the date! I am attempting a vbac so surprise birth date here if all goes to plan.

As for circumcision, its an absolute no go zone for us, just can't justify it as a routine procedure, but each to their own. DP really wants a boy, but I lean towards thinking we are getting another girl.

Started calmbirth classes wed night and they were great. No scary video introductions which was lovely for dp.

    Stay cool today all.

So you ladies reminded me to call & book in 32week growth scan for 31Feb and ask about Physio & any other classes. They only have Physio. Physio is a one off 2hr appt that they like to do 18 - 21 weeks oops anyway it's on a Sat at 9.30 DOH.

So booked in physio for Sat 8 Feb after our first antenatal class on 4 Feb ( as first class includes a tour of the midwifery unit / maternity ward so I know where I have to go for Physio).

Wow! everything is going much faster now :/
I washed they curtain in Juniors room today but we'll get them all done properly I think before his due date that way we might even get his carpet steam cleaned at same time! It's weird I feel like I should be doing more in prep but also feel strangely ready too!

Had my hair done yesterday with my hairdresser and she's 14 wks pregnant very cool. My dentist had a boy in Oct so was on May leave still when I went to get my filling fixed but I found out the Dental nurse who works with my dentist is also pregnant! These on top of the 3 friends I knew about ... Crazy!! So many success stories it's exciting!

👫 First bub for DH and I after 10 cycles of IVF 🎉
Celebrating and looking forward to meeting Junior - our Baby BOY!!!!

Went for gd test, didn't enjoy very much. Nearly threw up at the 1hr mark but luckily didn't. 3 jabs later, all good to go. The glucose stuff tastes sort of like flat lemonade, was still yucky.
Found even more new face-washers in my "stuff". I now have over 60

The last few nights once I've got into bed for the evening, I've barely noticed what seemed vaguely to be bubbles popping 3 or 4 times over 30 minutes or so generaly around my right lower abdomen. Hopefully, this is the beginning of me starting to feel my baby move around.

Think I might be starting to experience Braxton Hicks as well. A handful of times over the last week (with no real pattern to it), the lower half of my abdomen goes really tight and stays that way for a minute or two. It's not painful, and stops when I do something else. I'm a bit surprised that it would start so early though.
