Sorry to hear you were back in hospital Amps... Glad you are now home and hopefully can start to get better..you've had such a rough trot I don't know anything about MCN's, I'll google..

Ngaiz - Glad your scan went well and everything is on track with the little one

Simpson - that's nice of your SIL.. Sounds like you got some nice things.. We bought our car seat last weekend.. The box is sitting in the baby room at the moment... I know what you mean, in 4 months we'll have a little Bubs in there.. When we bought it we were saying how exciting the drive home from the hospital will be

All the best with the camping October... You should definitely get wife of the year without showers or toilets! I don't think I could do that, although I've never tried it..

Veritas - loving the baby bump You'll have to give us a before and after shot with the nursery Ours currently has our gym equipment in it! Lol I'm looking at setting ours up when our furniture arrives in March.

Bedlover - I'm sure everything is fine, hopefully 6 feb comes around quickly for you for peace of mind..

Jay - Hope your a/c did the job today... DH insisted on refrigerated cooling when we moved into our house.. I thought it was a waste of money but now I'm so happy we got it! It's crazy in MEL this week! Enjoy your hair appointment.. Nothing like some pampering We've discussed circumsition and I left it to DH .. He has decided not to get it done as he had a few issues with his sons one.

Arlais - glad the cough syrup worked a treat. I'm not looking forward to the glucose test.. I have my OB appointment on Tuesday and will get the referral then.. I eat all day, so it's going to be tough

Ainsley I felt Bubs at about 17-18 weeks but it was just flutters.. I find now at 24 weeks that I have days were I don't feel much and then other days, it's having a party in there! ( I love those days!)

KJ how did your scan go?

Riss loving the bump pic.. You've popped out I've had itchy nips and they are soooooo dark... What the? Lol

Sorry if I've missed anyone.. Trying to catch up from last week....

AFM - safe to say Melbourne weather is unbearable! 43 today, luckily our a/c is doing its job well. I'll be 25 weeks on Friday and getting really big.. I somehow managed to pull a muscle in my back/shoulder this morning when doing my hair.. (Seriously lol) it's been so painful.. So I've had a heat pack on it all day.. Didn't go to work which was probably a good thing with this heat!

    Welcome home AMPS!

Survived the heat today luckily it was a dry heat so our evap cooler worked well and the dental clinic has an aircon in every room so it was really cool. So after my two fillings were replaced I went to shops to get up sized bras AGAIN now 12DD what the! It's the highest KMart goes though in maternity of wire free bras. DOH! So next time I'll have to pay more then $7. But I did get some sport crops for $7 in size 14 & 16 which were soooooo comfy they aren't maternity but are like sports crop bras but have a hook back with 4 instead of the usual 2 that standard bras have. I need them for Physio.

Anyway also went to baby section and got my cot quilt (so now I can make a cover) plus a kit of baby grooming & medical (has medicine application, temperature monitor that can be used under arm, nasal aspirator) plus a few other odds & bobs like bottle brush, disposable bibs - figured would be handy to have in nappy bag 4 when your out

    Can't stop myself

The scan went really well we are certainly team blue so the higher the heart rate indicates a girl isn't correct in our case...he is measuring to date now 19wks1day and was moving around...didn't get any good pics again she said it was because the scan goes through me and then the placenta to get to baby, so I said oh you have to get through my fat then...made her laugh!!starting to finally feel more relaxed and positive now, we have to have a 26wk scan because he was in awkward position they couldn't see all his heart bits but nothing worry about.
Mentioned the MCNs to DH and he is a definate no he dosent want to wash them or see the S*** more than once...lol so don't think that's a go
    Amps really glad home now
Jay sounds like you hot a few bits today, I got the maternity bras from Kmart after reading about them on here so comfy
sounds like Melbourne is hotting up like Brisbane was a few weeks ago was too hot for me

Congrats KJ! Wonderful to hear you have a perfect little boy on board . You made me laugh with your DHs comment about cloth nappies!
