I have never been so grateful for spontaneous bowel motions in my life as what I have been during pregnancy. Just had one myself and gosh it was satisfying LOL

Take it easy today CatLover - hopefully it is just a tummy bug, but you're doing the right thing with getting stuck into the Powerade

Yay for movement Jay!! DH told me I was whinging in my sleep last night for my little squid to stop kicking me, so enjoy the novelty while it lasts

Haha Arlias yeah well I think he's worked out his legs move as every hour roughly now I get about 2-3 kicks but they are getting much stronger so it's definitely him. The last one definitely got my attention

Jay that's so exciting for guys!!! Mine is having a party in there today and we've seen my belly move quite a few times. There's so much movement going on that my insides are churning and making me feel motion sick.

19 weeks tomorrow; haven't felt any movement yet, so hopefully in the next few weeks it will start.

Can't wait for the morphology scan on Wednesday afternoon, so we can finally find out if we're having a boy or a girl.

Definitely a big difference there Ngaiz! I popped a fair bit at 22 weeks too

Jay it is amazing how much stress seems to fall away when you start feeling bub move around in there. I no longer feel anxious about waiting for a scan or seeing my Ob to let me know that bubs is okay in there - she lets me know all the time. She's also developing a fairly regular pattern of the times of day I usually feel her kicking, so I know not to worry if she's a bit quiet for a while.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday CatLover!! I'm excited someone else is finding out - way too many patient mummas on here for my liking LOL

Cat- I hope you are feeling better soon! All the best for your scan, will be exciting to find out! I'll find out in about 3wks!

Jay- congrats on feeling kicks, I can't wait for that point and hoping I won't have too much longer before I feel it. I think I've felt the slightest feelings but really not sure, more like air bubbles in my tummy.

Becca- I think your work should be fine with 12mths as it's a pretty usual amount of time to have off. Does your work have a HR department? I work for a large company so can call confidentially to HR and ask questions, they also directed me to some intranet sites for further info so I can read up on my entitlements without having to ask my boss a million questions.

I'm thinking of leaving 5wks off before the due date, which means I have 17weeks to go! I'm about to go on two weeks holidays so really have 19 but have deducted those two weeks to make it seem shorter. I've also worked out it'll only be 81 actual days as I've taken off all the public hols, lucky there are lots for Easter and Anzac Day, just before I finish up. I don't mind my job but I agree, it really does make a bad day feel better when you can count down the days!

Arlais- you are right, I'm one of the last on the roll call and I'm almost at 16weeks, I feel like it will be so nice to be over that half way mark! Does the third trimester start at 26 or 27weeks? I'm not sure but I know some say the 2nd trimester starts at 13wks and others say 14. I prefer to think of the first trimester as finishing at the first day of 13wks, the second at finishing 26weeks, which means the last trimester is really 14wks but who knows which week bub will make it's entrance anyway!

AFM: I'm off to NZ tomorrow so will be back in two weeks to read up on all the news I've missed (I might have to employ Simpson to take some notes and do a summary for me when I get back as she is excellent with personals)! Hope you are all well in the meantime!

I am so impatient it's not funny. I've been that way for as long as I can remember. I really do NOT like surprises at all, in any area of life. There's no way I could stand waiting for another 20 weeks approximately to find out whether I'm having a boy or a girl.
