Re: The Brazilian, been doing this for quite awhile now and found if I can't make my appointment every 3-4 weeks, it doesn't hurt as much if I trim first.(3-5mm I find is best for me). I have found with the increased blood flow down there that it does hurt a little more than usual, my salon gives me appointments with their most experienced staff and who have dealt with pregnant ladies before. Not sure how I will go trimming now as I can't really see down there now, dh would do it but he gets too randy and I think it would be cruel, we made the painful decision of no sex until ob says baby is ready to come anytime, too many unknown past issues with mc.

    Good tip Amps, thankyou

That must have been a pretty difficult decision for the two of you to make, but I certainly understand not wanting to take any chances. We're only now starting to figure out what works best to make me relaxed and comfortable enough to enjoy sex - before I was so paranoid and had no idea how things change and move around down there even early on!

Forgot to mention I came home from hospital yesterday. Feeling ok but not sleeping well, very uncomfortable, I swear bellybean is using my bladder as a trampoline, getting really bad wind pain after eat anything.
On a more positive note we bought a sofa bed for the baby's room and have started to clean the room out, big job!!!

at least we are all in the same boat, if I didn't take the plunge to Wax it would of been DH's job to do and at the moment he's the same Amps we haven't been allowed to have sex since we found out we was pregnant now nearly 16 weeks in now, we managed a slot once and then the next day that's when the bleeding started due to coming off my drugs and it gave him a fright so he says he's not going there now till we see OB on 07/01/14 very frustrating!!! The waxing woman said to me I would be more sensitive due to being pregnant....Here's me more worried about what it will look like down there rather than actual labour and it will probably happen were I will go into labour just before the waxing appointment anyway so wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. Booked in for my foils on Friday so decided to take to the plunge for xmas.

Trying to pluck up the courage to have waxing done too. Only ever had under arm and eye brows done. But getting harder to maintain with a razor as the belly expands. I guess it will be a walk in the park compared with child birth.

Maybe seeing as you guys are being so brave, I can too.

Counting down till home time. Really enjoyed the BJ concert, but bit tired today. Early to bed tonight.

Hanging our for time off work over xmas new year period.

Hi ladies.. Just on the way home from our 20 week scan... All went perfectly except our little one was in an awkward position so ended up having an internal... Speaking of waxing, I wish I had... Lol As I thought I have a high posteria placenta which explains how much movement I've felt... We are team surprise and didn't find out the gender (DH is regretting it already) Here is our munchkin:

Congrats JJ!! A cute little face smooshed in there. Love it.

Arghhh I'm planning on jumping on the Brazilian bandwagon this Friday. Been a couple of months since the last one. A bit nervous about the pain but need to get ready for the summer break. Also getting a pregnancy massage as a present to myself for getting through the year. Last day tomorrow! Woohoo!! xx
