Default What do you do on bad days?

Dh is away until sometime tomorrow afternoon. The kids have been ratbags all day. Miss 7 months is teething and cranky (fair enough) Master 2 is just being extra cheeky and ignoring me.

Took them for a drive, dd napped briefly. Put them in the bath which normally calms them. Ds thought it was hilarious to pour buckets of water on his sister / make tidal waves / splash out of the bath so that didnt last long. Currently sitting in my bed watching peppa pig. Quiet. But soon I must feed the children.

Seriously considering getting pizza delivered even though it is only 500m away.

Just do what's easiest OP - grab random stuff out of the fridge and cut it up... Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, yoghurt, banana, milk, and give to the kids as dinner. Or get the pizza

Order yourself the pizza and have a glass of wine when they're asleep!

I would order pizza. Have done so many times between exhaustion and from kiddo wearing me down throughout the day that i had nothing left in me to cook.

Enjoy your pizza and hope the kids sleep once you put them to bed for some time out.
