    Default Parenting books

My daughter is nearly 11 months old and i've just realised that i'm going to have to start parenting not just looking after her. Can anyone recommend some good books for parenting advice on topics such as discipline?
I didn't grow up around kids and feel way out of my depth.
    Thanks in advance

    Bump. Any ideas?
When I say discipline I mean tips for how to react when they do "naughty" things etc.
Ive heard about something called "123 magic" or something like that but don't know anything about it

123 magic is great, but probably aimed at kids a little older. Still worth a read now though.

Toddler Tactics by Pinky McKay. Not sure of your parenting philosophies but its a gentle, attachment style of parenting. Also reading websites like evolutionary parenting is good
