    Default Just a little suggestion...

Don't fall over at 31 weeks pregnant whilst carrying your two year old. It sucks even when there is no serious damage. First normal functioning day without panadol since Wednesday.

Well belly bub was fine, DS2 hit the edge of the coffee table on the way to the floor but was fine after a bit and I seemed fine. Went in and got monitored and all was great. DS2 also got checked. Nearly 24 hours later I'm in the middle of cooking dinner when I am floored with the worst abdominal pain I've ever experienced. I thought 'placental abruption' and called the hospital who told me to come in. DH was away so I had to call my parents to watch the kids and drive me there. They checked me out, I had a few BH so they checked the cervix for dilation and hormones but that was clear. They kept me overnight so as they could get me an ultrasound first thing in the morning just to make sure everything was fine. Turned out to be a pulled uterine muscle which made me feel so silly. The pain was so constant and strong though. Every time belly bub kicked or moved it felt like my uterus was tearing and if I tried to walk or stand I'd nearly vomit.

Oh definitely don't feel silly - it would've been silly to ignore your pain. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful.
