At the height of my bingeing (pre pregnancy) I would have a full large bag of chips and a 250g block of chocolate. But I knew that was not healthy and WAY too much for one person so I'm probably not one to judge!

Now I'm pregnant I can't stand the sight of chocolate! I have given it up on occasion, I have found, the longer you can go without it - the easier it gets. I think it's more the addiction to sugar more than anything.

I was reading an article just this morning about 7 things you didn't know we're running out of and chocolate was the first thing on the list...enjoy it while you can, ladies!

Lucky I'm not keen on dark chocolate.
They can keep extending my resources with cocoa fat and other fats. Lol

I buy thr lindt dark chocolate when it's on special. They are 100gm blocks. If your eating 1.5 lindt blocks that alot!

I used to eat that much chocolate though. But spaced it out over the whole day so I didn't feel it. Now I've cut down to 25-50gms a day I can see how much it was.

Oh dear! I feel like such a pig right now!! Haha I would easily eat 150g a day.... Mostly more though to be honest. Plus other junk!

I'm not overweight though I do have a pot belly I'd love to get rid of. And I know that I need to stop my piggy habits but it's a serious addiction!!

It might help me to remember all these responses saying its excessive.

I usually have two fun sized chocolates or handful of M&Ms or like today I had two Lindt balls. I find that is enough to cure my choc cravings for the day

I may have eaten almost a whole packet of m&m's today.

And? So what I hear you say - it may have been a jumbo family share pack.

Chocolate is my weakness ... I used to eat chocolate every day. Maybe not 150g but probably close to 100g a day.

I have been on a diet the last few months though - and although I would not have thought it possible, I have given up chocolate. Actually I have cut out almost all junk food.

The first few weeks were really hard - major sugar cravings but you do get over them. They pass, and I dont even crave it any more. Its amazing ...

I have lost 6kg in 2 months by simply cutting out junk food, and doing a small amount more excercise. And most of that weight has come off my pot belly/muffin top and all-around-middle-fat.

    I feel so good
