Default Do you regret buying a bigger car? if so why? - 3 kids/3 car seats

I am tossing up between a Hyundai santa fe 7 seater (diesel) and a holden omega wagon (petrol)

I'm worried I'll never be able to park the santa fe like normal car.
My old car was a Hyundai I30 (and I would get that again if 3 seats fitted comfortably)

Just stressing - its a big purchase and I don't want to regret it!

p.s buying second hand (potentially about the same price - if my offer is accepted!) Both have equivalent safety features. Santa Fe has slightly better fuel economy.

I love having a bigger car. Went from an Astra to a kluger wouldn't change back ever. Find it easy to park as well. Probably reversing it is easier but you just get used to it.

It would be cheaper to buy 3 new compact car seats if you are worried.
I have a huge car and parking is mostly fine anywhere.

We bought a seven seat diesel Santa fe second hand and have been very impressed.
The turning circle on it is fantastic and parking is a breeze. Ours has rear bumper parking sensors which let you know pretty quick if you get close to anything.

You can do what I do & park all on your lonesome. Mine is that 1 random car that you see furthest away in the car park & wonder why didn't they park closer?

Gosh. I love bub hub. Waking up to replies is fab!

I have to get a car cos mine was written off a while back. - long story. Crazy drug affected driver!

Looks like no-one is regretting their purchase. For those with larger cars, do u really use the space?

i didn't want a big car, so bought 3 slimline seats instead. it took a little research to find 3 that would fit, but was worth it.

i may need to go bigger as the kids get older, but for now i am happy with the car i have.

Once you get used to driving the car you won't regret it! I've got a CX9 so it's a bit longer but I use every bit of space possible lol. I have the back row of seats split folded so I can put my double pram in and all groceries!
