Default SILENT reflux for subsequent babies

Hi. My ds, now one y.o, had awful silent reflux as a baby. We are thinking about ttc next year and im worried that our next baby may get it as well. This isnt going to stop us from having more children, im just interested to know if anyone has had a baby with reflux and then another who didnt? If they did have it, what did you do to survive?!

DD2 and DD4 both had reflux. DD2 had bad reflux until she was nearly 2 but was a really happy bub so it didn't bother her much. DD4 had it pretty severe so we just went through the steps of elevating her cot, smaller more frequent feeds with lots of burping in between. We tried medication but not much really worked so it was more a wait and see it through. She's now 21months and no sign of it anymore!

DS1 had reflux, the lots of vomit type.
DS2 had severe silent reflux and ended up with blisters on his throat from it.
DS3 has severe reflux with lots of vomit, but he also has heaps of food intolerances.

Having reflux babies didn't stop me from wanting more until #3, before then I just keep thinking maybe we'll be lucky next time

Thanks everyone. Sounds common to have it run through the family.
