I have the same as you :-) 4 year age gap then a 12m 13 day gap and then I also have a 2year 4m gap.
    Ds1 is 9.6m DD1 5 D2 is about to turn 4 and DS2 is 19mths.
The small gap was hard at times but I loved it and would do it all again. For me the hardest time was when they where nearly 2 & 3but that was also because DP was working away and it was the beginning of my 4th pregnancy and I was soooooo tired.
Any particular questions feel free to ask :-)

When I had DD3 I had a near 3 year old, 10.5 month old and newborn. Best advice is to be organised and include toddler and 4 year old in on everything.
I would make sure all 3 of mine slept at the same time during the day so I had time to clean or rest. When you are going to feed bub then send one child to get wipes and the other a nappy or have food ready so the other 2 can have a snack whilst you feed.

I have a 12mth 23 day gap between my two boys. Like you I was in absolute shock when I found out I was pregnant again and was pretty emotional. Looking back now I wouldn't have it any other way. It was tiring being pregnant with an almost 1 year old who wasn't walking yet and the first few months were a blur of feeds, reflux and trying to get them to sleep but now it is great. They are 16mths and almost 2.5yrs now and love playing together and laughing with each other.

    Some tips:
    - have somewhere safe that you can put your older children while you feed/change the baby or where you can pop bub while dealing with the older kids. We used a playpen and DS2 would sit in his bouncer in it while DS1 played on the outside. Otherwise DS1 would try to sit on him!
-We found it easiest for DH to get DS1 bathed and into bed while I did DS2. Divide and conquer!
    - I got a side-by-side stroller that had seats which reclined which I would have been house-bound without. Even now they are both walking I still use it every few days.
    - At first I found the boys naptimes alternated so I'd always have at least one of them up. It's exhausting so try to ask your DP for some rest time when he gets home from work. I found just a 20min lay down at 4:30pm was bliss and it got me through the rest of the day.

I'm happy to help if you have any questions along the way. I have a friend at playgroup who has a 13mth gap between her youngest two with a 4yr gap to the oldest child as well. It's a busy time but she loves it too.
